Have you ever seen a shooting star? Curtin University‘s The Desert Fireball Network uses a network of fixed cameras across Western Australia and South Australia to track these fiery streaks across the sky – and they’re unlocking secrets of our solar system!

- Predict the trajectories and impact sites of meteorites
- Analyse atmospheric dynamics and atmospheric drag
- Develop sophisticated models to simulate meteoroid behaviour
- Recreate the re-entry trajectories of space debris
