This presentation focuses on the latest major release of the Cray Compiling Environment (CCE) version 14.

New features in the latest releases of Cray Performance Analysis Tools, Cray Debugging and Support Tools , Cray MPI, and the Cray Scientific Libraries will also be covered.  Special attention will be given to new features of the above that are especially applicable to Setonix phase 2 hardware, including EX235A GPU blades with AMD MI250 GPUS and Slingshot 11 (with Cassini NICs).

Chris Marsh Image After a not-so-brief stint in low performance computing, Chris joined Cray Inc. as a technical instructor in 2015, initially focusing on commodity clusters and analytics products.  In 2018 Chris began developing the administration and end user curriculums for a new product “Shasta” that is known today as the HPE Cray EX Supercomputer.

When HPE bought Cray Inc in late 2019,Chris was added to Technical Learning Services at HPE where Chris is the lead instructor for the HPE Cray EX platform; developing and delivering courses on Cray System Management and the Cray Programming Environment.  Chris Lives in St. Paul, Minnesota (USA) with his wife and three kids (ages 10, 7, and 3).
