STEM. Teaching data and datasets. Scary. NOT!

Join Pawsey, ADSEI & Curtin University for a Masterclass in STEM in this interactive, hands-on session as we introduce you to Learn@Pawsey, an easy-to-use portal complete with Scientists’ stories, student-centric surveys, online graphs, and teacher resources, designed for students and teachers of Maths, Sciences, and Digital Technologies (years 8, 9 and above).

Our first student-based survey about sleep is popular with students and teachers and is available for use.

Our second student-centric survey about trees, canopy, and satellites is new. Be the first to test a new activity on Trees & Satellites – to introduce STEM topics to your class – we’ve prepared an interactive, hands-on activity for you to participate in. We’re producing curriculum-aligned teacher’s resources and activities, and we’d like to hear from you – what does and does not work in the classroom?

“Learn like a student” as we walk you through a sample activity.

Meet our guest scientist who will be on-hand to share stories and take part in the activities.

Join us in-person at the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre or online for this hybrid event.

Register now if you are a Secondary School teacher of science, digital technologies, and/or maths OR if you’re interested in this topic.
