Pawsey presence at C3DIS event

The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre was excited to have an exhibition stand at the CSIRO Conference on Computational and Data Intensive Science (C3DIS) this July at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

During a week, Pawsey took the opportunity to run a number of workshops, including a Research Enabled by Supercomputers, an Introduction to National Supercomputing Facilities and Cloud Computing for Science. While at the same time, Pawsey staff were able to attend very informative talks and workshops.
C3DIS builds upon the previous very successful CSIRO Computational and Simulation Sciences and eResearch Conferences (CSS and eResearch Conferences) which:

  • established communities of practice covering scientific, research and technical expertise;
  • showcased success stories and
  • offered specialised training during the technical workshops.
