We strive to directly engage with our stakeholders via our outreach and training activities, which encompass conferences, tours, open days and regular training sessions offered in several cities around Australia.
Pawsey Training is designed to assist researchers to maximise the benefit of using the supercomputers and to explain the possibilities and applications of these powerful tools, to anyone with an interest in them. Topics include:
- Introduction to Unix
- Introduction to pshell
- Nimbus research and cloud training
- Introductory supercomputing
- Intermediate supercomputing
We also offer a ten-week, intensive Summer Internship Program (to link) for undergraduate students – an opportunity for potential future researchers to immerse themselves in advanced computing projects.
Our training and outreach activities have now become so popular, that we have created a range of Online Training videos, accessible via our YouTube channel. These videos include highlights from researchers, conferences and events, as well as relevant news articles.
