Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge and enhance your skills in computational science and research? Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge research projects? Here’s your chance to join the 2025/2026 Pawsey Summer Internship Program!!!

We are looking for exceptional students ready to give their best to this 10-week, paid Program. Specifically, we are looking for:

📢 About the Program

  • The internship program is conducted remotely, with the possibility for some interns to work on-site depending on the project.
  • The Program offers students a paid internship focused on building skills and experience in computational science and research projects.
  • During the Program, interns collaborate with national and/or international supervisors and collaborators.
  • Interns will receive guidance from Pawsey staff on best practices for using Pawsey resources, creating and presenting videos and posters, and techniques for scientific communication.
  • The Internship program includes induction and training sessions covering topics such as supercomputing, data management, and scientific visualization.
  • Interns will be supported by Intern Mentors and will have the opportunity to form a Community of Practice with fellow interns.

📢 Duration & Pay

The paid Internship Program lasts for 10 weeks, over the course of 12 weeks (24th November 2025- 13th February 2026).  There is a 2-week shutdown at the end of the year.

  • Submit a project poster, short report, and video at the end of the internship.
  • Participate fully each day, and in the Pawsey Friday event (13 February 2026)
  • Answer fellow interns’ posted questions as/when possible, creating a collegial Internship atmosphere.
