Nebula

Scientific data visualisation allows researchers to better understand their raw data and translate it into meaningful forms.

Applying visualisation techniques to complicated datasets can require specialist hardware, such as high-end graphics cards for handling large datasets in real time, novel display technologies to fully exploit the human visual system and user interface devices to facilitate the interaction.

Nebula is Windows-based visualisation cluster with access provided via web (touch supportive) meaning researchers will be able to access this resource on the fly without the need to install any client software on their laptops. Nebula is integrated with Pawsey Reservation Portal and users need to have valid booked time slot in advance to use Nebula.
