We’re excited to announce that Pawsey will host a two-day Visualisation Conference during the week of July 22, 2024. This event will feature a Visualisation Competition where participants can showcase their work through a brief presentation and submit their research data as either a video or an interactive visualisation, including a virtual or mixed reality format of their research data.
Event Highlights:
- Competition Showcase: Present your visualisation during a special sundowner event where it will be judged by fellow attendees.
- Support from Pawsey: We are offering guidance and limited development resources to help create novel visualisations using Pawsey services. Support will be allocated based on the merit of proposed projects, considering impact, originality, and other factors.
- Hybrid Format: The event will have both online and in-person components, but some parts of the event will only be available to in-person attendees. If you are submitting an interactive visualisation then most likely you will need to attend the event in person.
Call for Expressions of Interest:
We invite researchers interested in participating to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). Please include the following in your submission:
- A brief description of your project and what you aim to present.
- Details of the visualisation software you currently use, if applicable.
- Any support you might need from our visualisation team, such as data conversion for VR compatibility.
- Confirmation if you are an existing Pawsey user.
